Realme 17 Pro or 17 Pro+? Leak Claims 200MP Camera and 10,000mAh Battery

A Realme handset has appeared in an early specifications leak, but the report does not settle whether it is the Realme 17 Pro or Realme 17 Pro+. Tipster Debayan Roy, who posts as Gadgetsdata, shared the claims on October 23, and GSMArena reported them the following day.

Neither model has been officially confirmed. The claims describe a possible future handset, not a finalized phone or a confirmed launch in India, the US, China or Bangladesh.

Alleged camera, display and battery specifications

The post describes a flat 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz standard refresh rate and up to 165Hz in some games. It names MediaTek's Dimensity 7500, a 200MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The ultrawide camera's resolution is not specified.

The leak also claims a 10,000mAh typical-capacity battery and a plastic frame. It says the camera module could resemble the Realme 16 Pro+ design, but that comparison does not establish the new handset's final appearance.

Why Pro versus Pro+ remains an open question

GSMArena notes that a telephoto camera would be a significant change for the Realme 16 Pro's successor, while the flat display and plastic frame could point toward that positioning. The large battery and camera claims could also fit a higher-end Pro+ model. Those are comparisons, not confirmation of the name.

Realme has not announced the phone, its price, launch date, markets or complete specifications. Charging details, memory options, the ultrawide resolution and the final Pro-versus-Pro+ identity remain unknown.
