OnePlus Ace 7 Series Gets Dual-Airflow Active Cooling Design
OnePlus has shared more details about the cooling system planned for its upcoming Ace 7 series. The company says the phones will use a built-in active fan with two separate airflow paths, a design intended to address both internal heat and the way the device feels during gaming.
Two airflow routes, two jobs
According to the explanation shared by OnePlus China president Li Jie, one stream is directed at the chipset before hot air is moved out through the side of the phone. The second stream sends cool air toward the rear panel. OnePlus says this can help keep the user’s hands more comfortable by reducing the sensation of heat and sweating during extended play.
The company has also shown a sketch of the rear layout. The design appears intended to keep the intake and exhaust paths usable when the handset is held horizontally, although OnePlus has not published complete hardware specifications or independent measurements.
What remains unconfirmed
OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 7 series is due to launch in China later this month, but it has not announced an exact date in the material reviewed. Reports point to standard and Pro models, while claims about a 200-megapixel camera, a 9,000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip remain unconfirmed. No independent testing is yet available to show how much the fan changes temperatures, sustained performance or gaming comfort. Those details will need to wait for the official launch and hands-on testing.
