MS NOW brings its $7.99 streaming membership to major smart-TV platforms

MS NOW has expanded its streaming membership to five major connected-TV platforms, giving subscribers another way to watch its live news programming without a traditional pay-TV package.

The Versant-owned network said the service became available on Roku, Apple TV, Samsung TV, Google TV and Fire TV on November 2. It includes the live 24-hour channel and full episodes available on demand.

Monthly and annual membership options

The membership costs $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year. The connected-TV rollout extends access beyond the service's existing viewing options rather than introducing a separate television-only subscription.

Viewers who receive MS NOW through a participating television provider can also use their provider credentials, according to the network's support guidance. Direct membership provides an alternative for people who do not have that access.

More member features planned for 2027

MS NOW said it plans to bring member-exclusive programming and twice-daily question-and-answer sessions with journalists to connected-TV platforms in the first quarter of 2027. Those features are planned for the TV experience, rather than part of its November launch.

The expansion arrives as the network broadens distribution of its paid streaming service across the devices viewers use in their living rooms.
