Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro Batteries Appear in Safety Korea Certification

Battery units believed to belong to Samsung’s next flagship phones have appeared in the Safety Korea certification database. The listings show model EB-BS958DBY alongside the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s rumored SM-S958 identifier, while EB-BS957CBY is linked to the rumored Galaxy S27 Pro and SM-S957. Samsung has not announced either phone, so these details are not final product specifications.

What the certification shows

The two batteries are made by Zhuhai CosMX Power in China. Photos published with the Safety Korea records confirm the certification entries, but the printed capacity figures are not legible. That means the database images alone do not establish how much energy either battery stores.

Earlier leaks and China’s 3C certification are the basis for the reported numbers. The Galaxy S27 Ultra battery is said to have a rated capacity of 5,534mAh, which could correspond to a typical capacity of about 5,700mAh. The Galaxy S27 Pro is reported to have a 5,087mAh rated capacity, or roughly 5,200mAh typical. These figures remain reported values rather than Samsung-confirmed specifications, and pre-production components can change before retail release.

The same reporting points to 60W wired charging for both models. If the estimated typical capacities are accurate, the Ultra would represent a sizable increase over the 5,000mAh battery associated with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the smaller Pro would also exceed that reference figure. Battery size alone, however, does not determine endurance; display, processor, software and network use will also matter.

Samsung has not confirmed the Galaxy S27 series’ launch date, pricing or availability.
