A limited-edition graphics card for gaming-PC builders

ASUS has announced the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition, a limited-edition graphics card created with AMD and Capcom around Onimusha: Way of the Sword. ASUS announced the card on October 26.

The card uses a blue-and-gold treatment inspired by the game’s Oni Gauntlet. ASUS has applied game-inspired artwork to the shroud and backplate, giving the otherwise familiar TUF Gaming design a distinctly samurai-themed appearance. It is a hardware release aimed at PC players who want a themed component rather than a new GPU architecture.

Under the custom exterior is AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 XT, based on the RDNA 4 architecture. ASUS lists 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus and PCIe 5.0 support. The card’s cooling system combines three Axial-tech fans with a phase-change GPU thermal pad, while a vented metal exoskeleton covers the 3.125-slot design.

ASUS also describes TUF-focused construction features including military-grade components, GPU Guard and Auto-Extreme manufacturing. The company’s product page confirms that the exact Onimusha edition is bundled with the standard edition of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, with redemption instructions directing buyers to Steam.

Price and wider availability remain open

ASUS did not announce a price or a general retail availability date in the materials reviewed. TweakTown and VideoCardz likewise reported that stock had not been confirmed, so buyers should not treat individual listings or regional references as evidence of broad availability. ASUS’s announcement presents the card as a limited-edition collectible arriving alongside the game, rather than announcing a market-wide rollout.
