vivo S70 Leak Points to 64MP Periscope Camera With Teleconverter Support

vivo's next S-series phone could bring a long-range camera feature to the S70, according to a leak attributed to Digital Chat Station. GSMArena reported on October 24 that an engineering sample was said to use a 64MP Sony LYT610 periscope telephoto camera and support a teleconverter.

A camera accessory remains a possibility, not a promise

A teleconverter could extend the reach of the phone's telephoto system through an optical accessory. The leak does not establish whether such an accessory will reach retail, what its image quality would be or which markets might receive it. It also does not reveal the complete camera system.

Reported display and chipset details

The same report describes a 6.59-inch AMOLED LTPS display with 1.5K resolution. It attributes a Snapdragon 8s-series chipset to the engineering sample, with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mentioned as the likely choice rather than a confirmed specification.

Digital Chat Station also reportedly said vivo tested a rear display on an early engineering prototype before abandoning the idea. That is not confirmation of a dual-screen retail phone; engineering prototypes can change before a product is announced.

Launch timing and final specifications remain open

GSMArena described the launch as rumored for next month, which would mean November 2026. vivo has not announced a date.

There is no confirmed price, final design, memory configuration, complete camera system or rollout plan for India, the US, China or Bangladesh. Until vivo releases official details, the S70 remains a leak-led preview rather than a confirmed product announcement.
