vivo Y600 Set for October 30 China Debut With a 10,000mAh Battery
vivo’s next Y600 is scheduled to debut in China on October 30, with a 10,000mAh battery as its headline feature. The company’s teasers, reported by GSMArena and Gadgets 360, also show the phone in two colours with a dual rear-camera layout.
A very large battery, but not a universal runtime promise
The battery capacity is the strongest confirmed detail in the launch teasers. vivo also says the device achieved a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous smartphone product-testing livestream, lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes in a test conducted on August 11.
That result describes a particular test, not a guarantee that every owner will get the same runtime. Screen brightness, network conditions, camera use and gaming can all change how quickly a phone uses its battery. The reported record should not be described as an independently measured everyday-use result from this publication.
More hardware details still need confirmation
GSMArena separately cites a tipster claim that the phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor, a 50MP main camera and an IP68 rating. Those claims do not carry the same certainty as the announced date and battery capacity.
The phone’s resemblance to existing vivo models has also prompted rebranding speculation. That is not enough to copy another device’s complete specification sheet onto the Y600. Final display, charging, storage and protection details should be checked against vivo’s own launch information.
China comes first
The announced date concerns China. These reports do not establish Y600 prices or release dates for India, the US or Bangladesh, and a similar-looking vivo phone in another country may have a different name or hardware.
For buyers who prioritise endurance, the Y600 is one to watch. The remaining practical questions are its price, weight, charging time and performance—not simply the number printed beside mAh.
