Huawei Pura 90 Plus Live Images Show Kirin 9025 Ahead of October 28 Launch
Retail-unit photos show the Huawei Pura 90 Plus running Kirin 9025 with 12GB RAM and HarmonyOS 7; claimed performance gains remain unverified.
Huawei Pura 90 Plus Live Images Show Kirin 9025 Ahead of October 28 Launch
Live photographs of the Huawei Pura 90 Plus provide a clearer look at the hardware and software inside the upcoming phone ahead of its October 28 launch in China. The key new detail is an About screen identifying the processor as the Kirin 9025, rather than simply a rumoured chip name in a specifications leak.
GSMArena’s October 25 report says retail units were already on display in stores. The photographed handset carries the model identifier LCI-AL00 and lists 12GB of RAM, a 2,848 × 1,276 display resolution and HarmonyOS 7. These are details visible on the pictured unit; they should not be read as proof that every announced configuration has been independently tested.
What the photographed phone reveals
The images add hands-on evidence to the earlier launch and camera reports. Alongside the software information, a rear view shows the phone’s gradient finish and prominent triangular camera arrangement. HuaweiCentral’s account also describes units displayed at authorised offline stores ahead of the formal launch.
Huawei has already opened pre-orders in China. The reported line-up pairs 12GB RAM with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage and offers four colours. Those availability details provide context for the retail sightings, rather than a new global launch announcement.
Kirin 9025 performance claims need caution
The chip name is the strongest new finding from the About screen. Claims about what it can do are less settled. A MyDrivers report attributes a roughly 19% performance improvement over the Kirin 9020-equipped Pura 80 Pro to a tipster, alongside a comparison with the Kirin 9030S.
GSMArena describes the Kirin 9025 as an overclocked Kirin 9020, also citing a tipster. Neither a processor name on a settings screen nor a tipster’s percentage supplies the CPU configuration, test conditions or independent benchmarks needed to establish those claims. The performance comparison should therefore remain an attributed claim, not a measured result.
October 28 remains the date to watch
The official China launch is scheduled for October 28. Pricing, detailed specifications and any wider availability should be checked against the formal announcement. The reports consulted do not establish official sales plans for India, the US or Bangladesh, and a China pre-order page is not evidence of a global release.
