vivo X500 Pro Review Preview: Compact Flagship Arrives Without a Charger

GSMArena has received the global vivo X500 Pro for review, offering an early look at the smallest phone in vivo's X500 lineup. The preview is not a finished review, but it confirms the contents of the international retail package and records initial impressions of the handset.

Compact body, large battery

According to GSMArena's preview, the X500 Pro has a 6.36-inch display, making it more compact than the 6.59-inch X500 and the 6.85-inch X500 Pro Max. Despite its smaller screen, GSMArena says the phone feels thick and substantial, a trade-off linked to its 6,510mAh battery. The publication also describes a premium build with IP68 and IP69 protection ratings.

Charger is not included

The global X500 Pro box contains the phone, a color-matched case and a USB-A-to-USB-C cable, but no charger. GSMArena says vivo appears to reserve the 90W adapter for the Pro Max package. This is a package observation for the review unit, not a claim that every regional retail bundle is identical.

Early hardware picture

GSMArena identifies the review phone as carrying a 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and 12GB of RAM. It also says the X500 Pro's cameras sit below the Pro Max's level, particularly because the larger model uses a higher-end zoom sensor. A full review is still to come, so battery life, camera quality and sustained performance remain untested here.
