Dassault Systèmes raises 2026 growth target after stronger third quarter
Dassault Systèmes raised its 2026 financial targets after a stronger third quarter and the completion of its ArisGlobal acquisition, marking the French software group's first guidance upgrade in two years, Reuters reported.
Third-quarter growth accelerates
Revenue rose 5% to €1.55 billion ($1.73 billion), while operating earnings increased 10% to €490 million. The operating margin widened to 31.6%, from 30.1% a year earlier.
The group's chief financial officer told Reuters that quarterly growth had accelerated from 3% in the first quarter to 5% in the third.
Higher revenue and margin targets
Dassault Systèmes now expects full-year revenue growth of 4% to 5%, compared with its previous range of 3% to 5%. It also raised its operating-margin target to 32.5% to 32.7%, from 32.2% to 32.6%.
The upgrade comes as the company incorporates the contribution from its $1.8 billion acquisition of life-sciences software developer ArisGlobal, which was completed in September.
ArisGlobal contributes to the fourth quarter
Reuters reported that the deal is expected to add about two percentage points to the group's fourth-quarter growth outlook, now set at 5% to 8%. Dassault Systèmes has projected double-digit growth for ArisGlobal in 2027.
The acquisition contribution is part of the revised outlook; the forecast growth rates describe management's expectations rather than results already achieved.
