OnePlus Confirms Ace 7 Pro’s 200MP Camera and 3.5x Periscope
OnePlus has confirmed a 200MP main rear camera and a periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom for the Ace 7 Pro. The company also released promotional camera samples on Weibo, according to GSMArena’s October 26 coverage.
The new manufacturer disclosure moves these details beyond the earlier camera rumors. It does not, however, amount to an independent assessment of how the phone performs.
Sample photos are not a camera review
Notebookcheck’s coverage identifies manufacturer examples at 23mm and 80mm equivalent focal lengths, illustrating the main and telephoto viewpoints. They are OnePlus-selected images, rather than photographs from an independent controlled comparison.
The samples can indicate the look the company wants to demonstrate, but they do not establish consistent results across different lighting conditions or the quality buyers will get from a final retail unit. The announcement covered here also does not settle the complete set of camera-sensor specifications.
Two different refresh-rate claims
OnePlus says both the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro use BOE panels with X4 luminescent material. The LTPO AMOLED displays are rated for a system-wide refresh rate of 165Hz, with up to 185Hz available in selected games.
That distinction matters: the higher figure is not a promise that every app or the entire interface runs at 185Hz. The company also names its Super Display Chip P4 and describes eye-protection features; those remain manufacturer feature claims, not independently demonstrated health benefits.
Pro hardware and availability
The Pro is specified with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The series also includes an active cooling fan and Android 17-based ColorOS 17.
Both phones are available for preorder in China ahead of their launch later this week. The coverage does not provide a final retail price or a broader country-by-country rollout timetable, so wider availability should not be assumed.
