Logitech beats quarterly profit forecast as video collaboration sales rise
Logitech reported second-quarter non-GAAP operating income above market expectations as sales of video-collaboration products climbed 12%, while the computer-peripherals maker said a semiconductor supplier factory closure would have a smaller impact than initially feared.
Logitech beats quarterly profit forecast as video collaboration sales rise
Logitech reported second-quarter non-GAAP operating income of $231 million for the three months ended September 30, 2026, exceeding the $204 million Visible Alpha consensus cited by Reuters.
Sales rose 3% to $1.22 billion, matching analysts’ expectations and reaching the top of the computer-peripherals maker’s guidance range. Demand for gaming and video-conferencing products helped support the result.
Video collaboration leads growth
Sales in Logitech’s video-collaboration business increased 12% as companies refreshed workplace equipment. Pointing devices and keyboards also recorded mid-single-digit growth, according to Reuters, despite a 20% decline in global personal-computer shipments during the quarter.
The operating-income result was above Logitech’s previous forecast of $185 million to $210 million. The figures are non-GAAP measures, rather than statutory GAAP operating income.
Supplier disruption looks less severe
Logitech reduced the estimated sales impact of a semiconductor supplier’s factory closure after finding alternative chip supplies. It now expects the interruption to cost $70 million to $80 million in sales, down from an earlier estimate of as much as $200 million.
That range is an estimate of the disruption’s potential effect, not revenue already reported as lost. The company continues to face higher component and transport costs.
December-quarter outlook
For the quarter ending in December, Logitech forecast revenue of $1.36 billion to $1.43 billion and non-GAAP operating income of $220 million to $255 million.
The operating-income forecast is below the $312 million recorded a year earlier. Higher costs and the supplier shutdown are expected to weigh on the comparison, even after the company reduced its estimate of the disruption.
