SoFi shares jump premarket after earnings beat and higher 2026 outlook
SoFi’s Q3 adjusted revenue reached $1.371 billion and adjusted EPS hit $0.18, beating estimates as the fintech raised its 2026 forecast.
SoFi shares rose 9% in premarket trading after the financial-services company beat third-quarter estimates and raised its full-year revenue forecast, Reuters reported on October 27.
Revenue and earnings beat expectations
Third-quarter adjusted net revenue reached $1.371 billion, up 44% from a year earlier, compared with the $1.25 billion LSEG consensus cited by Reuters. Adjusted earnings per share were $0.18, above the $0.16 expected.
The company reported GAAP net revenue of $1.385 billion and GAAP net income of $241 million. Its adjusted net income was $243 million. Keeping those measures separate matters: an adjusted figure is not interchangeable with the corresponding GAAP result.
SoFi lifts its 2026 revenue forecast
SoFi raised its 2026 adjusted net revenue forecast to $5.04 billion. Reuters compared that with a $4.87 billion market expectation, rather than presenting the latter as the company's previous guidance.
The revised figure is a management forecast, not revenue already earned. It was part of the outlook investors assessed alongside the completed quarter's results.
Members and loan originations expand
SoFi ended the quarter with 17.1 million members, up 35%, and 26.7 million products, up 44%, according to its earnings release. Total loan originations reached $16.9 billion.
The quarter combined growth in the customer base with an earnings beat and stronger guidance. The 9% share-price gain cited by Reuters was recorded before the US market opened and should not be read as the day's closing move.
