Prime Big Deal Days 2026 Slashes Prices on Galaxy S26, Foldables and Top Smartphones
Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days 2026 is bringing major discounts on flagship smartphones, foldables and mid-range devices, with Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8, Google Pixel 11 lineup and Motorola Razr Fold among the highlights. Here are the biggest phone deals and what makes them worth considering.
Prime Big Deal Days 2026 Turns Flagship Phones Into Much Better Deals
Amazon’s October shopping event has become a familiar moment for anyone watching smartphone prices, but this year’s Prime Big Deal Days is particularly interesting for buyers looking at expensive phones. The two-day sale is cutting prices on current flagship models, premium foldables and a wide range of more affordable smartphones, giving shoppers an opportunity to pick up hardware that normally sits firmly in the premium-price category.
Prime Big Deal Days 2026 runs October 6 and 7, giving Prime members 48 hours to shop the event. Amazon says the sale covers more than 35 categories, with new deals appearing throughout the event and discounts reaching up to 55% or more on selected products.
For smartphone buyers, however, the most interesting part is not simply the number of products on sale. Some of the discounts are landing on relatively new flagship phones, including Samsung’s Galaxy S26 family and its latest foldables. Google’s Pixel 11 series is also discounted, while Motorola and other manufacturers are competing for shoppers looking for a premium Android phone without paying the original launch price.
Galaxy S26 Ultra Gets One of the Biggest Flagship Discounts
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra is arguably one of the standout deals of the event. According to GSMArena’s current Prime Big Deal Days listings for Amazon Germany, the 12GB/256GB model is available for €960, while the 12GB/512GB version is listed at €1,015. The discounts reach as much as €735 depending on the configuration.
That is a significant change for a phone positioned at the very top of Samsung’s conventional Galaxy S lineup. The discount makes the S26 Ultra considerably easier to justify for buyers who wanted Samsung’s flagship hardware but were waiting for the price to come down.
The smaller Galaxy S26+ is also discounted, with the 256GB version listed at €850 in Germany, while the standard Galaxy S26 starts at €680 for 256GB. That creates an interesting choice: buyers who do not need the Ultra’s highest-end hardware can save considerably more by moving down the lineup.
Foldable Phones Are Getting Serious Discounts
The foldable category is where Prime Big Deal Days becomes especially interesting.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 is available with a discount of around €385 in the German Amazon listings, bringing the 12GB/256GB version to €1,635 and the 12GB/512GB model to €1,815. It remains expensive, but the reduction is meaningful for a device that normally commands a premium price simply because of its foldable form factor.
In the United States, the deal is even easier to understand in dollar terms. The Verge reports that the 256GB Galaxy Z Fold8 has fallen from $1,899.99 to $1,549.99 at Amazon during the October Prime Day event. The publication notes that the price is $100 below the previous best sale price.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is also seeing a substantial reduction. Its 512GB version is listed at €1,985 in Germany, while the US price reported by The Verge is $1,699.99, down from $2,099.99. That makes the higher-end foldable substantially more approachable than it was at launch.
Galaxy Z Flip8 Is the More Affordable Foldable Option
Not everyone wants to spend more than $1,500 on a foldable phone. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip8 is therefore an important part of the sale because its compact clamshell design comes at a much lower price.
GSMArena reports a particularly large discount on the 256GB version in Germany, bringing it to €750, a reduction of around 42%. The phone uses an Exynos 2600 chipset, a 4,300mAh battery, 25W wired charging and a dual rear-camera system with a 50MP main camera and 12MP ultrawide.
That combination makes the Flip8 a different proposition from the Fold8. The Fold is aimed at buyers who want a phone that can become a larger productivity and media device, while the Flip focuses more heavily on compactness, design and the experience of carrying a conventional smartphone that folds into a smaller package.
Google Pixel 11 Series Also Gets Price Cuts
Samsung is not alone. Google’s Pixel 11 family is also part of the Prime Big Deal Days smartphone deals, although the reductions are smaller than Samsung’s biggest discounts.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL is listed at €1,085 for 12GB/256GB after a €315 discount, while the 16GB/512GB model is €1,270 after a €260 reduction. The standard Pixel 11 is listed at €815 for 12GB/256GB after a €185 discount.
The pricing puts Google's latest flagship phones in an interesting position. Even after the discounts, some Pixel models remain more expensive than similarly positioned Samsung phones in the current promotion. That means the decision is less about simply finding the biggest percentage discount and more about choosing the platform and features that fit the buyer.
For Pixel fans, Google's camera processing, clean Android experience and AI-focused software remain major reasons to choose the Pixel lineup. For shoppers primarily interested in hardware value, however, Samsung's deeper price cuts may be harder to ignore.
Motorola Razr Fold Brings Another Foldable Choice
Motorola is also making a strong appearance in the foldable category with the Razr Fold. According to GSMArena's current Amazon Germany deal listings, the 16GB/512GB model is priced at €1,330, representing a €670 discount.
The Razr Fold takes a different approach from Samsung's foldables while offering a large 8.1-inch internal display and a 6.6-inch cover display. It also packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, giving it an endurance and charging advantage over some competing foldables.
The trade-offs are equally important. GSMArena notes that the Motorola is thicker and heavier than the Samsung Z Fold8 Ultra, while its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor is the standard version rather than the Elite variant used in Samsung's premium model.
The Best Deal Depends on What You Actually Need
This year's Prime Big Deal Days smartphone sale is a good reminder that the biggest discount does not automatically mean the best purchase.
Someone looking for maximum flagship hardware may find the Galaxy S26 Ultra particularly attractive because the price reduction is large enough to change its value proposition. Buyers who have been waiting to enter the foldable market have several more interesting choices, with the Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Flip8 and Motorola Razr Fold all receiving significant reductions.
For buyers who want a premium camera-and-software experience rather than the largest possible discount, the Pixel 11 series remains worth considering. Meanwhile, shoppers with a tighter budget can look beyond the flagship models, as Amazon's event also includes discounts across Samsung's mid-range and entry-level ranges. GSMArena's wider deal roundup includes phones from Samsung, Google, Motorola, Xiaomi and other brands.
Prime Big Deal Days Is Short, and Prices Can Move
There is one important catch with all of these offers: Prime Big Deal Days lasts only 48 hours. Amazon's event ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, and Amazon says deals can change throughout the event and remain available only while supplies last.
That makes the timing important, particularly for popular flagship and foldable models. A discounted price seen early in the event is not necessarily guaranteed to remain available until the final hours.
For buyers outside the United States and Europe, there is another consideration. The prices above come from specific Amazon markets and should not be treated as Bangladesh retail prices. Import costs, shipping, taxes, warranty coverage and local availability can significantly change the final cost.
A Strong October for Smartphone Shoppers
Prime Big Deal Days 2026 is shaping up to be more than a routine discount event for smartphone buyers. Several current-generation flagship and foldable phones have received reductions large enough to make a noticeable difference, particularly Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra and Z Fold8 family.
The bigger story is that premium smartphone prices are becoming increasingly sensitive to sales events. A phone that looked difficult to justify at launch can become much more compelling when hundreds of dollars or euros disappear from its price tag.
For shoppers, that means the smartest approach is not simply to chase the largest percentage discount. Compare the final price, storage configuration, warranty, seller and your actual needs. In this year's event, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, Pixel 11 lineup and Motorola Razr Fold stand out as some of the more notable high-end smartphone deals—but the right choice ultimately depends on whether performance, cameras, software, battery life, compactness or the foldable experience matters most.
