Huawei Enjoy 100 Pro Max and Enjoy 100 Pro launch in China

Huawei has introduced the Enjoy 100 Pro Max and Enjoy 100 Pro in China. Both run HarmonyOS 7, but their names should not obscure the differences: the Pro Max has a larger screen and battery, while the smaller Pro uses a higher-resolution selfie camera.

Enjoy 100 Pro Max: larger display and battery

The Pro Max has a 6.84-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Huawei’s claimed 8,000-nit peak brightness is qualified by a 1% APL test condition, rather than being an ordinary full-screen brightness rating.

Battery capacity is 8,800mAh typical and 8,560mAh rated, with support for 40W wired charging. The processor also varies by storage: Huawei lists the Kirin 8020A for the 128GB and 256GB versions, and the Kirin 8020 for the 512GB model.

Camera hardware includes a 50MP RYYB rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The Pro Max supports Wi-Fi 7 and BeiDou satellite messaging, but Huawei limits the satellite-message service to mainland China, excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Enjoy 100 Pro: smaller screen, 32MP selfie camera

The Pro uses a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and the Kirin 8020A processor. Its battery has a typical capacity of 6,100mAh, and wired charging is supported at up to 40W.

A 50MP RYYB rear camera is paired with a 32MP front camera, compared with the Pro Max’s 8MP selfie camera. The Pro also offers Wi-Fi 7 and storage options up to 512GB.

The phones are visually different, too. The Pro uses a square rear camera area, whereas the Pro Max has a circular camera design. Specifications and photographs for the separate, lower-cost standard Enjoy 100 should not be confused with either model.

China prices

The Enjoy 100 Pro starts at CNY 1,799. The Pro Max starts at CNY 1,999 for 128GB, rising to CNY 2,399 for 256GB and CNY 2,899 for 512GB. These are China launch prices, not confirmed local prices for India, the United States or Bangladesh. Retail timing differs between launch coverage and specification listings; buyers should check Huawei’s China store for the current sale status.
