Samsung Galaxy A58 reportedly listed with 45W charging in China

A China Compulsory Certification listing for an unannounced Samsung phone identified as SM-A5860 reportedly shows 45W wired-charging support. The record also indicates that a charger will not be included, but Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the Galaxy A58’s identity, launch timing, battery, or other specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A58 reportedly listed with 45W charging in China

What the certification shows

A Samsung-branded 5G phone identified as SM-A5860 has reportedly appeared in China’s Compulsory Certification (3C) database. The listing, as reported by Gadgets 360 and shown in a post by tipster Anvin, includes charging profiles of 10V/4.5A and 15V/3A, which correspond to a maximum wired input of 45W. Other listed profiles include 5V/2A, 9V/1.67A and 9V/2.77A.

The certification information also indicates that the device will be sold without a charger in China. That would be consistent with the packaging approach reported for Samsung’s recent A-series phones, but regional retail bundles can differ.

Still an early, unconfirmed link

The 3C record does not name the phone Galaxy A58. Its association with that model comes from the model-number identification used by tipsters and technology news outlets, so the handset’s branding should be treated as reported rather than confirmed by Samsung. The 45W figure would match the charging capability reported for the Galaxy A57, suggesting no peak wired-charging increase if the identification is correct.

Samsung has not announced the Galaxy A58 or confirmed a release date. Claims about its camera hardware, battery capacity, chipset or launch markets remain unverified and are not established by this certification alone.
