Honor reportedly tests a 14,000mAh phone battery aimed at week-long endurance

Honor may be preparing its biggest smartphone battery yet, but the claim remains unconfirmed. A report citing Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station says a battery rated between 14,000mAh and 15,000mAh has reached trial production, with Honor allegedly targeting up to a week of use on one charge.

What the leak says

The leak does not identify a final phone model. GSMArena says Honor could eventually use the battery in a Power3 or Win RT3 device, but those possibilities are speculation rather than announced product plans. The same report says the cell is designed to be high-density and should avoid excessive thickness or weight; there are no independently verified dimensions, weight figures or endurance tests for this proposed phone.

Honor's confirmed battery progress

Honor's official Chinese product pages list 12,070mAh as the typical battery capacity for both the WIN RT2 and WIN Turbo2, with a rated capacity of 11,790mAh. Those phones are confirmed products, but their specifications do not verify the newer leak.

Honor also has not announced a 14,000mAh phone, a launch date, pricing or availability in China or other markets. Until the company publishes specifications or the device is independently tested, the week-long figure should be treated as a target attributed to a tipster—not as expected real-world battery life.
