iQOO Neo12 launches in China with 9,000mAh battery and 185Hz 2K display

iQOO has launched the Neo12 in China, combining a high-refresh gaming display with a large battery, active cooling and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform. The phone went on sale on October 28 at 7 p.m. China time. The announcement follows earlier design and display previews, and adds confirmed specifications and China pricing.

2K display and active cooling

The Neo12 uses a 6.83-inch Visionox AMOLED panel with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. Alongside the Snapdragon processor, iQOO includes its Q3 gaming chip for features such as upscaling and frame-rate interpolation. Cooling combines a built-in 59-blade fan with a vapour chamber, giving the phone an active cooling system rather than relying on passive heat spreading alone.

9,000mAh battery and camera hardware

The official battery figures are 9,000mAh typical capacity and 8,820mAh rated capacity, using a single-cell design with 100W wired charging. The rear camera system pairs a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 16MP front camera handles selfies.

Other equipment includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, an infrared sensor and stereo speakers. The phone runs OriginOS 7, while official China specifications list IP68 and IP69 protection ratings.
