Honor X8e 4G arrives in Azerbaijan with 108MP camera and 7,700mAh battery

Honor has quietly added the X8e 4G to its Azerbaijan product lineup. The entry-level phone stands out for a 108MP rear camera and a battery rated at 7,700mAh typical capacity, although the company lists the nominal capacity as 7,500mAh. The sources reviewed do not confirm sales plans for India, the US, China or Bangladesh.

Large battery, modest platform

The X8e uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685, an eight-core 4G chipset, with dual nano-SIM support. Honor’s regional information lists MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, NFC, stereo speakers and 6GB/128GB or 6GB/256GB configurations. The phone supports up to 45W wired charging; actual charging speed depends on the charger and usage conditions.

Its 6.87-inch TFT LCD has a 1,592 x 720 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a stated peak brightness of 1,020 nits. The 108MP main camera is joined by a 5MP front camera. Video recording is limited to Full HD, consistent with the capabilities reported for the Snapdragon 685 platform.

Durability is a major selling point

Honor advertises IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection, along with resistance to drops from up to 2.5 metres under its stated laboratory conditions. The company also promotes wet-hand touch support, an underwater photo mode and operation in harsh temperature and humid, salt-rich environments. These are laboratory and product claims, not a promise that water or impact damage cannot occur in everyday use.

The phone is offered in Sunrise Orange, Desert Gold and Velvet Black, with a 218-gram body measuring 8.3mm thick. An AI button and Honor’s advertised AI features are included on the Azerbaijan page, but the company notes that some software functions and services vary by region, language and model.

Azerbaijan pricing, with wider rollout unconfirmed

Two Azerbaijan retailer pages reviewed list the 6GB/256GB model at AZN 819.99 and AZN 829.99, respectively. One listing shows the product in stock, while the other identifies a promotional price valid through October 31, 2026. Those are retailer prices rather than a universal Honor price, and they may change.

Honor’s Azerbaijan listing establishes the model’s regional identity, but it does not establish availability everywhere. Country-specific announcements or official store listings are still needed to confirm a launch in other markets.
