vivo X500 Series Teased for India, and the Watch GT 2 May Arrive With It

vivo has started teasing the X500 series for India. The company unveiled the phones in select markets in October, and they are now listed as "coming soon" for India — though vivo has not yet given a launch date.

Two models are coming to India: the vivo X500 and the vivo X500 Pro. They will be sold through vivo's own e-store, as well as Amazon.in and Flipkart. A third model, the X500 Pro Mini, will not be making its way to India, according to vivo.

A microsite, a notify button — and a camera teaser

vivo India has set up a microsite for the series, where a "notify me" button is already live for anyone who wants to be alerted when the phones go on sale. The page puts the X500 Pro's camera front and centre as a major feature, under the tagline "The extraordinary begins with a new perspective."

The two phones are already available in China, and the teaser page links to their full specifications — but the announcement itself shares no prices, specifications, or dates for the Indian market.

Watch GT 2 expected alongside

The vivo Watch GT 2 is also expected to arrive in India alongside the X500 series. Like the phones, the watch has no confirmed launch date, price, or specifications in this announcement, and a tagline for the watch appears in the teaser materials as well.

For now, the teaser is all there is: two phones confirmed for India, a third ruled out, a watch expected to join them, and a launch date still to come.
