vivo X500 FE Surfaces in Certifications as V80 FE Clears Another Hurdle

vivo's next pair of FE phones is quietly working its way through certification offices around the world. The vivo X500 FE has now appeared in Indonesia, Singapore and Türkiye, while the vivo V80 FE has picked up another approval in Thailand — the kind of paperwork trail that usually shows up shortly before a launch.

The X500 FE is the successor to the X300 FE, which vivo launched back in April. Its Indonesian certification, issued on 3 November 2026 under certificate number 128423/DJID/2026, confirms both its full marketing name and its model number, V2653.

X500 FE: three countries, no specs yet

The same V2653 model has also been certified in Singapore, where it is described as a 5G mobile phone with WLAN, Bluetooth and NFC. In Türkiye, the IMEI database lists the X500 FE under two model numbers, V2653 and V2654.

What none of these listings do is reveal any specifications. The display, chipset, cameras and battery of the X500 FE all remain unknown for now.

V80 FE: Thailand approval is a formality

The V80 FE's latest step is an approval in Thailand under model number V2624. It is more of a formality than a revelation at this point: vivo has already listed the V80 FE on its Philippines website, complete with a Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset and a 7,000mAh battery.

That listing, along with the phone's earlier Indonesian certification, means the V80 FE's shape is already fairly clear. The X500 FE, by contrast, is still mostly a name and a model number.

What comes next

Neither phone has a launch date yet. But with the X500 FE now certified in several markets, vivo may not keep it under wraps for much longer — and the V80 FE's paper trail suggests it is nearly ready to go official too.
