vivo is putting battery endurance at the center of its latest smartphone push. The company's vivo V80 Lite 5G has officially secured a Guinness World Records title after completing a continuous 32-hour and 37-minute electronic product testing livestream.

The record was achieved in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and verified under Guinness World Records guidelines. The test was designed to put the V80 Lite through an extended period of demanding smartphone use rather than simply measuring battery capacity in a laboratory. Guinness World Records lists the achievement as the “Longest electronic product testing live stream.”

32 Hours and 37 Minutes Without Interruption

The V80 Lite 5G is not built around battery capacity alone. It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 449ppi pixel density and up to 2,000 nits of high-brightness mode. The panel also supports HDR10+, P3 wide color gamut and 1.07 billion colors.

For performance, the phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset. Depending on the market and configuration, it comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
