HONOR X9e Pro: A Smartphone Built Around Battery Life and Durability

HONOR is pushing the X-series into a more unusual direction with the new HONOR X9e Pro. Instead of focusing primarily on flagship-level processing power, the phone puts two things at the center of its identity: extreme battery capacity and physical durability.

The headline feature is its massive 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the largest capacities currently offered in a mainstream smartphone. HONOR pairs that battery with 80W wired charging, a 108MP stabilized main camera, a 6.8-inch AMOLED display and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. The phone also carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, along with HONOR's claims of substantial drop resistance.

The X9e Pro is therefore not trying to be a conventional thin-and-light performance phone. Its appeal is aimed more toward people who want a large screen, long battery endurance, a capable camera and a device that can tolerate demanding everyday conditions.
