Xiaomi's HyperOS 4 Update Is Rolling Out: Check If Your Phone Is on the List

If you own a Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco phone, your HyperOS 4 update may not be far away. Xiaomi has now laid out the full rollout plan, and it stretches from early November into December, covering phones that go back three years.

Right now, only the Xiaomi 18 series runs HyperOS 4 out of the box. That is about to change. The new software brings deeper ties with iPhones, making it easier to share photos, files, contacts and web pages with iPhone users, along with a round of visual and performance improvements.

One thing to keep in mind: the timetable looks like it is for China first. If you are outside China, you may have to wait a little longer for the same update to reach your phone.

First wave — early November

The first batch is already under way, and it is the biggest one. It covers the newest flagships and a long list of recent Redmi phones and two tablets: Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, Xiaomi 17 Pro, Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15T Pro, Xiaomi 15T, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi MIX Flip 2, Redmi K90 Pro Max, Redmi K90, Redmi K80 Ultra, Redmi K80 Pro, Redmi K80, Redmi Turbo 5 Max, Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 8.

The next batch arrives in the middle of the month and reaches back to 2024 models: Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Pro, Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14T Pro, Xiaomi 14T, Xiaomi MIX Flip, Redmi K70 Ultra, Redmi K70 Pro, Redmi K70, Redmi K70E, Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, Redmi Turbo 4, Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 7.

Third wave — late November

Late November is when the rollout reaches 2023 devices, including the Xiaomi 13 series and the Redmi Note 13 series: Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13T Pro, Xiaomi 13T, Redmi K60 Ultra, Redmi K60 Pro, Redmi K60, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13R, Redmi Note 13R Pro, Poco F7 Ultra, Poco F7 Pro, Poco F7, Poco F6 Pro, Poco F6, Poco X7 Pro and Poco X7.

Fourth wave — December

The final batch for now lands in December, and it is aimed at older Poco phones: Poco F5 Pro, Poco F5, Poco X6 Pro, Poco X6, Poco M7 Pro 5G, Poco M7 5G and Poco C85.

If your phone is on the list, the update should arrive as an over-the-air download when your wave begins. If it is not listed, this schedule does not cover it yet — Xiaomi may add more devices later.
