Apple Releases First iOS 27.3 Developer Beta With Redesigned Health App and Apple Intelligence in China

Apple has released the first iOS 27.3 developer beta to testers, bringing several new features and changes. Alongside iOS 27.3 beta 1, the company also released the first developer betas of iPadOS 27.3, macOS 27.3, watchOS 27.3, tvOS 27.3, visionOS 27.3 and Xcode 27.3.

What is new in iOS 27.3 beta 1

The beta introduces a redesigned Health app, alongside several Audio Intelligence features such as Siri Recap and Live Rewind on the Apple Watch.

With the latest beta, Apple is also bringing Apple Intelligence features to China, as confirmed last week. However, not all features are available to testers yet, with Siri AI notably missing.

More changes in the beta

The update also includes the Reachability accessibility feature for the iPhone Duo, along with vertical tabs on Safari and an adaptive Dark Mode. StandBy mode now gets functionality similar to the iPhone Duo across all supported iPhone models.

Apple also announced a new Siri AI Developer Preview, which is now available to all developers and allows them to integrate their apps with Siri AI.

What testers should know

This is a developer beta, so it is aimed at testers and developers rather than everyday users. Apple has not stated a public release date for iOS 27.3 in the report, and the article does not give a specific list of supported iPhone models.
