Samsung's First Premium Over-Ear Headphones Could Be Called Galaxy Studio
Samsung's rumoured high-end over-ear headphones, reportedly called Galaxy Studio, are expected to launch in early 2027 alongside the Galaxy S27 series. A new leak now offers the first details about their design.
A pair of Samsung headphones bearing the model number SMU700 have appeared on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification website. These are said to be the rumoured Galaxy Studio headphones.
What the FCC listing shows
The listing includes an image showing the placement of the regulatory label, which also offers a partial look at the headphones. According to the partial image, the Galaxy Studio headphones appear to feature flat-folding earcups.
Other related documents also reveal that the headphones will be available in black and beige colour options.
Still a rumour
Nothing in the listing is presented as confirmed by Samsung. No price has been mentioned, and there are no details yet about drivers, noise cancelling, battery life or codecs. But if the Galaxy Studio name and the early 2027 timing hold, Samsung would be entering the premium over-ear market against Sony and Apple for the first time.
