Motorola Signature 27 hands-on video previews a 12,000-nit display and 200MP zoom camera

Motorola’s Signature 27 has appeared in an early hands-on promo video ahead of its reported November 5 launch, offering more detail about the company’s next flagship phone. The footage was presented by YouTuber Danny Winget; Motorola’s own product page confirms several of the platform’s headline features, but not every specification shown in the video.

What Motorola has confirmed

Motorola lists Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with AI-assisted zoom up to 100x, a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA L910 main sensor and Bang & Olufsen audio. The company also describes a redesigned 3D vapor chamber and a body using aerospace-grade aluminum and glass-ceramic.

The official page does not give a full launch price or battery specification. Its wording says the phone is coming, while GSMArena and GizmoChina report November 5 as the expected debut date.

Details from the hands-on video

Reports examining Winget’s video say the phone has a 6.8-inch tandem OLED display with a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate and a claimed peak brightness of 12,000 nits. The video also indicates up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a dedicated action sensor.

Those video-sourced details should be treated as preliminary until Motorola publishes the complete specification sheet. Android 17 and seven years of Android OS upgrades are also reported, but pricing, battery capacity and charging information remain open questions.
