Galaxy S27 Ultra Color Options Leak: Samsung May Bring Light Pink to Its Main Lineup
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra could arrive in four standard colors—Black, Blue, Light Pink and White—according to a new leak from tipster Ice Universe. The rumored lineup would replace the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Cobalt Violet with Light Pink, while an additional Violet shade could reportedly appear as a special or Samsung-exclusive option. Samsung has not officially confirmed the colors.
Galaxy S27 Ultra Could Get a Surprisingly Different Color Lineup
Samsung may be preparing a noticeable change to the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s color lineup, with a new leak pointing to Black, Blue, Light Pink and White as the phone’s four main colors. The information comes from well-known Samsung leaker Ice Universe and has quickly been picked up by several outlets covering the company’s upcoming flagship.
The interesting part is not Black or White, which are predictable choices for a Galaxy Ultra. It is the reported Light Pink option. If the leak proves accurate, Samsung could be moving away from the purple-focused styling used on recent Ultra models and giving pink a much more prominent place in its flagship lineup.
There is an important caveat, though: Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy S27 Ultra or confirmed these colors. The reported shades currently come from a leak, so their names, finishes and availability should be treated as provisional rather than final specifications.
Four Base Colors Are Reportedly on the Way
According to the latest leak, the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s standard color selection will consist of Black, Blue, Light Pink and White. The term “base colors” is significant because it may indicate finishes intended for broad retail and carrier availability rather than colors restricted to Samsung’s own online store.
The exact appearance of those colors remains unknown. For example, “Blue” does not necessarily mean Samsung will simply reuse the Sky Blue finish from the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Likewise, the leaked Light Pink name does not tell us whether the phone will have a soft pastel appearance, a metallic finish or something closer to the Pink Gold treatment Samsung has previously offered.
That leaves plenty of room for Samsung to surprise buyers when official renders and marketing materials eventually arrive.
Light Pink Could Replace Cobalt Violet
The biggest visual change may be the reported disappearance of Cobalt Violet from the standard lineup.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra launched with Black, Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue and White as its four standard colors, while Pink Gold and Silver Shadow were offered as Samsung online-exclusive finishes.
If the S27 Ultra really launches with Light Pink instead of Cobalt Violet, Samsung would be making a clear change to the personality of its flagship. Purple has become something of a recurring color family for Galaxy Ultra phones, so removing it from the main retail lineup would be more noticeable than simply changing one shade for another.
Interestingly, a follow-up report says Ice Universe has also mentioned a special Violet color. That could mean purple has not disappeared completely and might instead return as a Samsung-exclusive option. However, the details remain unclear.
What About Samsung-Exclusive Colors?
The four leaked colors may not represent the entire Galaxy S27 Ultra palette.
Samsung has regularly offered additional finishes through its own online store, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra followed that strategy with exclusive colors beyond its standard retail lineup. Several reports therefore expect the S27 Ultra to receive additional colors that may not be available through every retailer.
This is particularly interesting because the reported Violet shade could potentially become one of those special editions. But at this stage, there is not enough reliable information to say exactly which additional colors Samsung will offer.
The Colors Arrive Alongside a Bigger Design Change
The color leak comes at a time when the Galaxy S27 Ultra is already rumored to receive a broader design overhaul.
Recent reports and leaked renders have pointed toward a different rear camera design, including a camera-bar-style arrangement that would give the phone a noticeably different appearance from recent Galaxy Ultra generations. The combination of that redesign and new colors could make the S27 Ultra look substantially different even before considering its internal hardware.
That makes the color choices more relevant than they might initially seem. A large rear camera redesign can change how a particular finish looks because the camera hardware occupies a significant portion of the rear panel.
Black and White should remain relatively conservative choices, while Blue and Light Pink could give Samsung more room to emphasize the new design.
Samsung Has Not Confirmed the Galaxy S27 Ultra Colors Yet
For now, the safest way to describe the reported lineup is Black, Blue, Light Pink and White as rumored base colors.
The exact color names may change before launch, and Samsung could introduce additional online-exclusive finishes. There is also uncertainty over whether the reported Violet option will actually be produced or how it would be distributed.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra itself is expected to arrive in early 2027, so there is still plenty of time for additional leaks and official information to emerge.
For Samsung fans, however, the reported Light Pink option is already one of the more interesting details surrounding the next Ultra flagship. After several generations of relatively familiar premium colors, Samsung appears to be considering a softer and more distinctive shade for one of its most expensive smartphones.
What We Know So Far
If the current leak is accurate, the Galaxy S27 Ultra could launch with Black, Blue, Light Pink and White as its main retail colors, with a possible Violet finish joining the lineup as a special option. None of these colors has been officially confirmed by Samsung yet.
The more important story may ultimately be how these finishes work with the rumored new design. If Samsung combines the new camera layout with a fresh color palette, the Galaxy S27 Ultra could end up looking considerably different from the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
For now, though, buyers should treat the colors as leaked information rather than confirmed specifications. More detailed renders and official Samsung material should provide a much clearer picture closer to the phone’s expected launch.
