Realme 17 Pro Specs Leak: 200MP Camera, 7,000mAh Battery and a Familiar Chip

The Realme 17 series is due to launch this month in India, and a new leak has clarified where the 17 Pro, the middle model in the range, sits.

Earlier leaks about the Pro's specs appeared contradictory, but the latest details paint a clearer picture — and suggest the phone is closer to its predecessor than its name implies.

The Pro is said to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, the same chip as the Realme 15 Pro. Its screen is a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the battery is a 7,000mAh cell with 80W wired charging — again, the same as the 15 Pro.

A bigger camera upgrade than the rest

The clearest change is in the cameras. The 17 Pro is tipped to carry a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide.

That would be a meaningful step up from the 15 Pro, which has a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide and no telephoto at all. The added telephoto is, on this leak, the main reason to upgrade.

The phone is also said to have a plastic frame and to be IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance.

Configurations, colors and prices

RAM and storage options are listed as 8GB with 128GB, 8GB with 256GB, 12GB with 256GB and 12GB with 512GB. The colors are named as Magical Purple, Desert Gold and Starlight White.

Expected prices in India, all described as unofficial, are INR 32,999 for 8GB/128GB, INR 34,999 for 8GB/256GB, INR 37,999 for 12GB/256GB and INR 41,999 for 12GB/512GB.

Put together, the specs suggest the 17 Pro will replace the 15 Pro in the lineup, while the 17 Pro+ sits a step above it and the 17 Pro Air a step below. The Realme 17 series is set to debut in India on November 26, according to a related report.

As with all leaks, these details are unconfirmed by Realme until the launch.
