Oppo Find X10 Ultra Has Reportedly Been Cancelled

Digital Chat Station (DCS) claims on Weibo that Oppo has cancelled the Find X10 Ultra, which was expected to launch early next year.

The Find X10 Ultra was going to be Oppo's next top-tier smartphone, succeeding the Find X9 Ultra, which was released in May. But now it seems it won't exist.

A beast that may never arrive

It was supposed to be a beast, with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip and a 200MP camera with a 1/1.12-inch sensor. Now it seems neither will reach Oppo customers in a phone — at least not in a flagship.

The same report notes the Find X10 Ultra's cancellation was for "some reason" — the reason was not specified.

What happens to the Find X10 lineup?

The Find X9 Ultra's 200MP camera was the first 200MP phone camera from Oppo; it is not yet known whether the Find X9 Ultra will get a successor.

GSMArena is left wondering if the Find X10 will launch with the Ultra model cancelled, or if Oppo's upcoming flagship lineup will end with the Find X10 Pro. The Find X10 Pro is due in April, and the vivo X300 Ultra is also due next year.

Oppo's new gimbal camera is also in the pipeline — and the gimbal camera and the Find X10 Ultra cancellation are both coming from the same Weibo post by Digital Chat Station.
