PlayStation Plus October Catalog Adds Mafia: The Old Country and Horizon Forbidden West

Sony’s October 2026 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog refresh is now rolling out, bringing Mafia: The Old Country on PS5 and Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 and PS4. Most of the announced lineup became available on October 20, although several games have different dates in the United States and United Kingdom.

Mycopunk joins the catalog on launch day

Mycopunk arrived on PS5 worldwide on October 20 as a day-one Game Catalog release. The mission-based shooter supports four-player co-op, with a team of robots fighting fungal enemies and customizing its weapons through hand-crafted upgrades.

The two headline adventures offer a different pace. Mafia: The Old Country follows Enzo Favara through the criminal underworld of early-20th-century Sicily. Horizon Forbidden West, which Sony identifies as a PlayStation Plus re-release, returns Aloy to a dangerous frontier of machines, new tribes and unresolved threats.

Check the dates before downloading

The Midnight Walk became available on October 14 in the US and UK and October 15 in Japan. The PS5 adventure also supports PS VR2. Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition and Monster Energy Supercross 25 are scheduled for October 27 in the US, UK and Japan, rather than the main October 20 release date.

These are Game Catalog additions for Extra and Premium members, not a replacement for the separate Monthly Games selection. Sony also warns that Game Catalog and Premium/Deluxe lineups can differ by region. Subscribers elsewhere in Europe should check their local PlayStation Store rather than assume the US or UK dates apply.

Premium adds two classics

Premium members also receive Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition on PS5 and PS4. New Premium Game Trials for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell II were listed for October 20.

For subscribers deciding what to play this week, the useful distinction is between games already available and the October 27 arrivals. Streaming availability is another separate check: Sony says it varies by country, region and over time.
