The vivo X500 Ultra has not been officially announced, but a new leak is outlining a high-end hardware package for the expected successor to the X300 Ultra. Digital Chat Station reportedly says the phone could use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and arrive in China between March and April 2027.
Large BOE display and bigger battery tipped
The reported display is a 6.85-inch BOE LTPO AMOLED panel with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also said to be flat, with slim, uniform bezels and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. A battery of around 7,000mAh is claimed, although vivo has not confirmed that capacity.
Camera details remain unsettled
Camera hardware is less certain. GSMArena says the tipster previously described a choice between three 200MP telephoto sensors. Separately, Notebookcheck reports that an engineering version was being tested with a 200MP telephoto camera using a 1/1.12-inch sensor. That does not establish the final specification, and no camera type beyond the reported telephoto setup is confirmed by vivo.
Pricing and international availability have not been announced.
