vivo X500 E Case Listings Add Weight to V80 Rebrand Theory

New third-party accessory listings are adding to the case that vivo’s unannounced X500 E could be closely related to the V80. Cases appearing on Amazon Italy claim compatibility with both names, according to reports from GSMArena and Android Treasure.

That is useful evidence of a possible shared design, but it is not an official vivo specification sheet. Case makers can make mistakes, and matching dimensions do not guarantee matching internal hardware.

The clues extend beyond the cases

The reports also point to Google Play Console information identifying a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, the same chipset associated with the V80. Android Treasure describes reported 8GB RAM and display details that further support the connection.

GSMArena notes two identifiers in the trail: V2648 on Google Play Console and V2656 in Bluetooth certification reporting. That leaves room for regional or product differences rather than settling the identity of every version.

The battery is one unresolved detail

A rumored 7,500mAh capacity for the X500 E differs from the 7,200mAh figure reported for the V80. It is possible that the rumor is wrong or that the models differ, but the available evidence does not resolve that question.

The earlier X300 E also shows why a similar-looking phone need not be a simple rename: GSMArena describes it as related to the V70 but upgraded in processor and battery. A familiar chassis alone cannot settle the X500 E’s positioning.

What buyers should wait for

vivo has not confirmed the X500 E’s final specifications, pricing or launch date in the consulted reports. There is no verified regional sales plan here for India, the US, China or Bangladesh.

The current evidence supports a cautious conclusion: an X500 E–V80 connection looks increasingly plausible, but calling the phones completely identical would go beyond what the listings establish.
