Texas Instruments Forecasts Q4 Sales of $5.8–$6.3 Billion After Strong Q3 Growth
Texas Instruments expects fourth-quarter revenue of $5.80 billion to $6.30 billion, a range above the $5.73 billion analyst average reported by Reuters using LSEG data. The outlook follows a third quarter in which sales increased across industrial, automotive and data-center markets.
TI reported revenue of $6.055 billion, up 28% from a year earlier and 11% from the previous quarter. Earnings per share reached $2.62, an increase of 77%. Its fourth-quarter earnings outlook is $2.45 to $2.79 per share.
Growth extends beyond AI processors
The Dallas-based company’s exposure to AI infrastructure differs from that of a supplier of high-performance AI accelerators. TI makes analog and embedded chips that manage power, connect systems and process real-world signals.
Those components appear in factory equipment and vehicles as well as consumer electronics and data centers. The breadth of those uses makes TI’s results a useful indicator of demand outside the most visible AI computing chips.
Its analog division generated $4.911 billion in quarterly revenue, up 32%. Embedded Processing revenue increased 21% to $858 million, according to the official results.
Manufacturing investment remains part of the model
Management highlighted 300mm production alongside the product portfolio in discussing cash generation. Operating cash flow over the trailing 12 months was approximately $9.9 billion, while capital expenditure during that period was about $2.6 billion.
The quarter provides evidence of a recovery in TI’s own business. The fourth-quarter figures remain guidance rather than completed sales, and the analyst comparison is the consensus snapshot cited in Reuters’ report.
