Sea Limited plans a public listing for Monee and is preparing an AI-first enterprise platform called Sea Cloud, according to an internal memo reviewed by Reuters.

Sea Limited is preparing to take its financial-services arm Monee toward a public listing while launching a separate enterprise AI business. Reuters reported the plans from an internal memo sent by founder Forrest Li.
Li said a listing would give the payments and financial-services operation “the resources and the room to go further and faster.” Monee operates in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan and Brazil, offering mobile wallets, payment processing, credit and banking services.
The memo described Sea Cloud as an AI-first enterprise platform. Sea did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment, and the report gave no timetable, exchange or expected valuation for Monee.
The announcement puts two priorities together: separating a fast-growing financial operation for possible capital-market expansion and building infrastructure for business customers. Li said Sea’s quarterly revenue had grown more than 80 times over nine years to $7.8 billion; that figure refers to the wider group, not Monee alone.
