Samsung Galaxy F70 Launches in India with 90Hz AMOLED Display and 5,000mAh Battery

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy F70 in India, adding a mid-range model whose hardware closely resembles last year’s Galaxy A17. A large AMOLED screen, optical image stabilisation and a 5,000mAh battery lead the specification sheet, but the phone’s launch software remains unclear.

Familiar hardware and India pricing

The F70 combines a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for its 13MP selfie camera. Samsung’s official product page identifies the Exynos 1330 processor and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. Rear cameras comprise a 50MP OIS main unit, a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera.

The phone supports 25W wired charging and carries an IP54 rating. Black and violet colours are listed. GSMArena reports launch prices of ₹19,999 for 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and ₹22,999 for the 6GB/128GB version, with Flipkart availability announced from October 20.

Android version needs clarification

GSMArena flags conflicting software indications: a Flipkart listing suggests Android 15, while other information points to Android 16 with One UI 8.5. Samsung’s product page does not confirm the out-of-box Android or One UI version. Neither should be treated as settled without clearer manufacturer information.
