Samsung’s Galaxy S27 family may adopt two distinct rear-camera looks, according to case images cited in a new GSMArena report. The leak covers the Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro and S27 Ultra, but it is important to separate what the accessories show from what remains unconfirmed about the phones themselves.

Pro and Ultra cases show a wider camera opening

The visible change is on the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra cases: each has a sizeable rectangular camera cutout stretching across nearly the device’s full width. That is a clear departure from the vertical camera opening shown on the regular Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ cases, which the report says resembles the layout used by their predecessors.

These are leaked cases, not official product images. Their openings can reflect an accessory maker’s expectations, early dimensions or an unfinished design, so they do not confirm the final phones. The case openings do not establish camera sensors or other internal hardware. At this stage, the dependable takeaway is limited to the different visible case layouts. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S27 series in the first quarter of 2027, with the report placing the possible window between mid-January and late February.
