Public bidding for Jio Platforms’ $3.2 billion IPO opened on October 21, testing demand for India’s largest share sale to date and the first from Reliance Industries in two decades, Reuters reported.
The offer price range is 1,065 to 1,119 rupees per share and the sale closes Friday. Trading is expected to begin on October 28. The offer values Jio Platforms at up to $108.3 billion, with about one-third of the shares reserved for retail investors.
Jio this week allotted $853 million of shares to global and domestic investors, including Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and BlackRock. Reuters said the reserved investor portion drew bids totaling more than $25 billion.
Jio Platforms houses India’s largest telecom operator, with more than 500 million subscribers, and reported about $3.2 billion in profit on $15.5 billion in revenue for the year to March. Reliance’s investor-relations materials separately reported 533 million connectivity subscribers as of June 2026.
