Huawei Pura 90 Plus Rumor Points to a 50MP 1-Inch-Type Camera

Huawei may be preparing another member of the Pura 90 family, with camera hardware at the centre of the pitch. A leak attributed to Digital Chat Station describes a Pura 90 Plus with a 50MP, 1-inch-type RYYB main sensor and variable aperture.

This is an early hardware claim, not an official Huawei product announcement. GSMArena and Gizmochina both trace the information to the same tipster, so their reports should not be mistaken for two independent confirmations.

A camera-focused addition to the lineup

The rumored device is said to have three rear cameras. Gizmochina reports an internal codename, Lucia, and a triangular camera module, while GSMArena highlights the main sensor and adjustable aperture.

The combination would make the primary camera the key detail to watch if the phone becomes official. It does not yet tell us the final lens characteristics, processing quality or how the phone performs in difficult lighting. A specification leak is not a camera test.

A 6.8-inch screen is also tipped

The reports point to a 6.8-inch display with a 1.5K resolution. Four proposed colours are Dawn Gold, Obsidian Black, Snow White and Sunset Purple.

GSMArena says the existing Chinese Pura 90 family includes the standard model, Pro and Pro Max. A Plus model would therefore be another addition rather than evidence that one of those phones has already been replaced.

Price and release details remain open

Neither report provides a confirmed selling price or official release date for the Plus. There is also no established launch plan here for India, the US, China or Bangladesh. Those details need to come from Huawei before the rumored device can be compared as a real buying option.
