Honor Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 Launch With 12,070mAh Batteries
Honor’s Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 are on sale in China with 12,070mAh batteries and 185Hz displays, but differ in processor, cooling and main camera.
Honor Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 Launch With 12,070mAh Batteries
Honor has officially launched the Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 in China, moving the gaming-focused phones beyond the earlier leaks and teasers. Both feature unusually large 12,070mAh batteries, 90W wired charging and high-refresh-rate screens, while the RT2 adds a faster processor and an internal cooling fan.
According to GSMArena’s launch report, the Win RT2 starts at CNY 4,199 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its 16GB/512GB configuration costs CNY 5,199. The Win Turbo2 starts at CNY 3,199 for 8GB/256GB and reaches CNY 4,499 for 16GB/512GB.
Same battery capacity, different gaming hardware
The Win RT2 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, alongside LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage. A fan integrated into the rear camera area offers four adjustable speed levels. Honor’s claim that it can lower temperatures by up to 6°C is a manufacturer figure, not a result independently measured here.
The Win Turbo2 instead uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and omits the active cooling fan. That distinction matters for buyers comparing sustained gaming performance: the shared battery capacity does not mean the two phones have the same processing or cooling capabilities.
Both offer 27W wired reverse charging in addition to their 90W charging input, according to GSMArena. Battery capacity alone does not establish real-world endurance, and no independent battery-life result is included in the cited launch coverage.
Fast screens and different main cameras
The phones share a 6.89-inch 2K AMOLED display with a maximum 185Hz refresh rate. The advertised 10,000-nit peak should not be interpreted as the brightness of the entire screen during ordinary use, and games still need compatible software to reach high frame rates.
The RT2 pairs a 200MP main camera with a 12MP ultrawide. The Turbo2 uses a 50MP Sony main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide instead. Each has a 50MP selfie camera and runs Android 17-based MagicOS 11.
Reported connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC, alongside an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and IP69K rating. The phones are on sale in China; the reviewed announcements do not confirm official pricing or release dates for India, the US or Bangladesh.
