Galaxy S27 May Return to an Earlier Launch Window as RAM Plans Remain Unsettled
Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series could move back toward the company’s familiar early-year schedule, according to reports citing Korean tipster Lanzuk, also known as yeux1122 on Naver. The rumored plan points to a January launch, with February described as the latest possible window.
Production planning reportedly advances
The reports say major hardware decisions are largely in place and that Samsung is moving toward production planning. Samsung has not confirmed an announcement date or retail availability.
Memory upgrades could depend on chip costs
Memory plans remain fluid. Earlier leaks associated LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.0 storage mainly with the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra, while the standard S27 and S27+ were linked with older LPDDR5X and UFS 4.x. Newer reports say Samsung is considering 8GB RAM versions of the S27 and S27+ alongside rumored 12GB models. The Pro and Ultra are still tipped to start at 12GB, with higher-capacity options also discussed. These configurations are unconfirmed, and rising memory prices may determine which upgrades reach the final models. No official price or final specification has been disclosed.
