Crosscall Core X7 Rugged Phone Appears on French Retailer Alongside Core T7 Tablet
Crosscall’s next rugged devices have appeared on AMG Pro, a French retailer focused on tactical equipment. The listing covers the Crosscall Core X7 phone and Crosscall Core T7 tablet, but it is not confirmation of an official launch. The pages reviewed did not show a release date or price in euros.
Core X7 details remain limited
The Core X7 is listed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its 171 x 79.5 x 13.5mm body weighs 280g. The phone is rated IPX8 for immersion in up to 2 metres of salt water for 30 minutes, IP6X for dust tightness and IP69K for hot-water jets. AMG Pro’s reported testing includes 300 drops from 1.2 metres under MIL-STD-810H, while Crosscall is said to claim survival of a 2-metre fall onto concrete. Its stated operating range is -25°C to 60°C, and the battery is covered by a five-year warranty.
The retailer listing does not identify the chipset, display, cameras or battery capacity, so performance and endurance cannot yet be judged.
Core T7 adds a desktop-style mode
The Core T7 tablet also lists 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, measures 261 x 167.9 x 13mm and weighs 800g. It supports Crosscall’s X-SPACE desktop environment. Its protection details include IP68 salt-water immersion to 2 metres for 30 minutes, IP69K water-jet resistance and a 1.2-metre concrete drop test under MIL-STD-810H. Both devices use Crosscall’s circular magnetic X-CABLE connection for power and USB 2.0 data.
